Shola and Olumide couple session

Shola and Olumide is one of my favorite couple. From our very first conversation on the phone up till a couple of days ago, I just keep getting amazed how lovely and friendly they are.

The couple wanted an intimate couple session so we decided to shoot around Maryland and in DC. My lovely Abi and I assisted and carried each other throughout the shoot.  We ended up spending most of the session time at the National Arboretum in DC which was perfect for their personality.

Even though we didn’t have much time shooting in DC but we had so much fun and the time spent with these two was Golden. I’m really looking forward to their wedding in December

Here are a few of my favorite images.

I love the chemistry between the couple.

After shooting in Bowie, MD, for the second session we drove to the National Arboretum in DC for some more cool pictures.

One of my ‘top’ favorites.

Another thing I love about Shola and Olumide is the way they look at each and make each other smile!

We strolled down the beautiful park (almost dark) to capture the autumn essence.

We got kicked out of the park after taking this picture because the park closes at 5p. lol….

Isowa + Francis = Love

I had the opportunity to shoot one of my favorite couple last month.  Isowa and Francis are getting married next month and ever since I watched their proposal video I instantaneously saw how lovely and adorable they are.

I am glad to be covering their wedding and I know that this special day will go smoothly as planned.  And I can’t wait to photograph my “most” favorite couple.

Laura + Roger engagement session

Do you know that Ellicott City, Maryland was founded in 1772, and it features the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Ellicott Station Museum which is the oldest surviving railroad station in America.  Few days ago, I had the opportunity to shoot a SUPER COOL couple, Laura and Roger, in Ellicott City.

We met up at their first date location, the Old Mill Bakery Cafe.  Then we shoot around Old Ellicott City before heading to the railroad museum.  Laura and Roger will exchange vows next week and the chemistry in their relationship is evident in these photos and I can’t wait to capture more images of this beautiful couple.

Below are a few of my favorite images and slideshow from Laura and Roger’s engagement photo session.  Make sure you check out the Caboose!

Tashana + Glascow Engagement Session

***Please Watch-out for High-Res Images***

Few months ago, Aby and I drove down to a local mall, Arundel Mills, to see a client that had seen our work online.  After showing a sample of our work, we clicked incessantly with the couple, Tashana and Glascow.

Weeks after the meeting, Aby and I met up with Tashana and Glascow at the Quiet Water Park in Annapolis; we took some pictures at the park and finished the e-session at Fells Point in downtown Baltimore. These two are such a beautiful and lively couple and Downtown Baltimore was a perfect location for them.

I just got the wedding day timeline and all I have to say is that this special day is BLESSED. And to show how cool they are, below are some of my favorite pictures that show the “coolness” of the couple.

We started our trip at the Quiet Water Park in Annapolis under a bright-sunny day.

The picture above is one of my extreme favorite from this session.

M & J: Traditional Engagement *updated with more pictures*

Last Thursday was one of the happiest days for one of our favorite couple, Mide and Junior.  They got married in a Yoruba Traditional Wedding ceremony adorned with exquisite African attire, décor, and food. Last month, I had a blast shooting their pre-wedding session in Baltimore. And they will be tying the knot in a few days and I am so glad to be part of their special day.

You can view the rest of the pictures HERE The bride getting ready and wearing an African bead called “i leke” (pronounced: e-leh-keh) Beautiful, simple and classic shoe. The bride’s aunt assisting with her head-tie.  It was fun to watch the artistry behind wearing a head-tie. Complete head-tie and ready to go. One more thing, she needs the wrapper to complete the outfit. Waiting The groom dancing into the bride’s courtyard to ask bride’s parent for marriage. Engagement: Tola and Lanre

Last weekend I met up with Tola and Lanre in Owings Mills, MD for their engagement session. These two are such lively couple, and we were able  to finish the entire session in less than an hour.

We met the sunset “sweet light” just in time to get closing shots. I am really looking forward to being part of their big day. Below are my favorite pictures.
