After hearing Senator Obama’s historical speech, I was inspired and joyous. As I sat in front of my TV set, starring at my non-HD tube. I realized that we control our own destiny. The best part of his speech was when he said,
I get it. I realise that I am not the likeliest candidate for this office. I don’t fit the typical pedigree, and I haven’t spent my career in the halls of Washington.
But I stand before you tonight because all across America something is stirring. What the nay-sayers don’t understand is that this election has never been about me. It’s been about you.

I was using a 24-70mm lens. And I was shooting a little bit close to the couple. This creates a shallow depth of field and b/c I was also shooting a f/2.8
IPTC: 1/400 sec f/2.8 ISO200 Lens was at 40mm(24-70mm)
No doubt a rookie question but how did you get the effect where both the background and the foreground in the 3rd picture appear blurred?
