The result of two months ago photoshoot of the Les Belles D’ Afrique dancers is now online. Check it out.
I have so many great words to describe this wonderful group and I am so excited to see all seven beautiful, intelligent and remarkable women grace this website. Les Belles D’ Afrique translated is Beauties of Africa. I loved the photoshoot and hopefully we will work together in the future.
Last weekend I met up with Tola and Lanre in Owings Mills, MD for their engagement session. These two are such lively couple, and we were able to finish the entire session in less than an hour.
We met the sunset “sweet light” just in time to get closing shots. I am really looking forward to being part of their big day. Below are my favorite pictures.
Last Sunday, I met with and photographed an adorable family that I love. I’ve postponed two sessions prior due to weather and my tight schedule. My wife, Aby, assisted with this one and we had a BLAST.
Last weekend, I got the privileged to shoot with one of the most interesting photographer, Michael Clark Photographers. He is a good friend of mine, a wonderful neighbor, and a superb photographer. I’ve learned so much from Michael and plus last weekend’s shooter opportunity I couldn’t be more grateful.
I was fascinated when I was told that I will be shooting along side with the production crew of “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?” How cool is that? I think you’ll see a glimpse of me, seconds of fame, unless I was edited out.
One of America’s top wedding planners, Linnyette Richardson-Hall of Premiere Event Management, coordinated the beautiful wedding. The bride and groom were charming and adorable. And I enjoyed the whole atmosphere of there wedding.
Mide and Junior are two of the nicest people I know. They will be getting married next month and I am glad to be part of their wedding day. The day went smoothly as we strolled around Fells Point in Baltimore.
I’ve known Junior from college and Mide runs an exquisite African restaurant, Peju’s Kitchen and they are both entrepreneurs.
I’ve been contradicting not to post more than 10 pictures. Is there really more than ten pictures? Let’s get on to my favorite pictures and forget about “the laws of blogging”.
Last weekend, after shooting an e-session with one of my favorite couple we decided to take a group picture. Two remarkable photographers, Abayomi and Sade, helped out and we all had so much fun with the couple.
The witty moment was when we wanted to take the group picture. I positioned and set my camera capture timer not knowing that it was set to 2 seconds. As I was running back to the group the camera captured me running and holding up my pant (jeans, U.K. folks call it trousers).
Here you can see me positioning and setting my camera timer for the group picture.
I didn’t know the timer was set to 2 seconds. As I was running back to the group the camera took this picture below.
Final image.

A guest at a wedding tapped me and said, “Why are you shooting the bouquet, the flowers, and the bride’s shoes? I noticed that you have been shooting continuously” I said to her in response that capturing the wedding detail is very important to the bride and groom. It adds to the timeless memories of the wedding day and to preserve one of the most important days in the couple’s life, these images will bring joy, happiness, and cheerfulness. Anticipated moments and still images will bring life to the pictures.
Anderson, a WPJA photographer, stated that it’s an image that you can look at today and be moved by it, and one that you can look at in 20 years and it will have the same effect on you, regardless of styles changes and current trends. The emotional impact is going to be the same when their grandkids look at their album.
