My name is Tunji. I’ve been a photographer ever since I picked up my first digital camera and my wife, Aby, is the pioneer. This blog is my photography journal where I document my experiences as a wedding photographer. It also inspires and motivates my day to day activities.
My style of shooting is geared towards story-telling and capturing the rich moment in time. I create images that can rekindle memories from life-time events.
I studied engineering and my wife studied accounting. We live our life according to God’s directions and guidance.
I will document each step in our blog as we grow to one of the best wedding photographer in the world. By the way, Tunji Sarumi is pronounced TUN-GEE SAR-RU-ME. To see our portfolio please visit us at http://www.tunjisarumi.com
Hope everyone enjoyed the Labor Day Weekend. Over the weekend Me, Aby (Lovely Wife), Debra (Sister), and Junior (Brother-in-law) had the opportunity to hang out with a lovely couple that I adore. The couple traveled 4 hours for the e-session and we had a blast.
Below is the picture taken after the e-session right in front of Muvico movie theater. From left is the couple, me, Aby, and my brother-in-law Junior.
I took this picture of my lovely wife, Aby, while at work photographing the beautiful couple.
Aby took this picture of me that I really, really, really love. It’s going to my facebook page ASAP.
We caught a glimpse of Micheal Jackson’s concert while wandering around the mall.
After hearing Senator Obama’s historical speech, I was inspired and joyous. As I sat in front of my TV set, starring at my non-HD tube. I realized that we control our own destiny. The best part of his speech was when he said,
I get it. I realise that I am not the likeliest candidate for this office. I don’t fit the typical pedigree, and I haven’t spent my career in the halls of Washington.
But I stand before you tonight because all across America something is stirring. What the nay-sayers don’t understand is that this election has never been about me. It’s been about you.
Last week I photographed a couple that I love and admire for quite some reasons. Mide and Junior is a good friend of ours (my wife and I) for so many years and just capturing one of the happiest days of their life was truly touching. They were surrounded by families and friends and wonderful people that care much about them. The day went perfectly and there was a great cooperation amongst vendor. Two days prior, Aby and I photographed their traditional engagement wedding that took place at Peju’s Kitchen. Below are some of my favorite images from the wedding and big thanks to Abayomi and Folasade for shooting with me. They helped me capture some of the most remarkable images from the wedding. And to see more pictures from this wedding please see slideshow at the end of the last image.
Congratulations once again to Mide and Junior. I will be blogging about this wedding tomorrow however, I would like to share the slideshow from their traditional wedding engagement.
Last weekend, I shot a wedding in Fairfax, Virgina with Alejo of Flutter Photo on one of my busiest weekend so far this year. Before the wedding, I had to shoot an e-session with another great couple in Annapolis, Maryland.
