My name is Tunji. I’ve been a photographer ever since I picked up my first digital camera and my wife, Aby, is the pioneer. This blog is my photography journal where I document my experiences as a wedding photographer.  It also inspires and motivates my day to day activities.

My style of shooting is geared towards story-telling and capturing the rich moment in time.  I create images that can rekindle memories from life-time events. 
I studied engineering and my wife studied accounting.  We live our life according to God’s directions and guidance.

Maryam and Monsour | Pine Manor, New Jersey Wedding

Few months ago when I met with Maryam and Monsour they said that they were looking for a photographer than can capture “uniqueness” and “classic wedding images”.  I said to them that they came to the right person.  Their wedding is one of my favorites.  And one of the most important thing about the day was the loving atmosphere that radiates throughout the wedding not only between Maryam and Monsour but among all families and friends.

Mubeen and Azmat | Radisson Hotel, Baltimore

06.24.2009 Weddings

Mubeen and Azmat wedding festivity continued at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Baltimore.  The couple wore beautiful traditional Indian attires with fine jewlery.

By the end of the day I kinda knew all the couple’s close family members by face.  I really enjoyed the time covering this wonderful wedding event and I’m so grateful to document in photographs one of the happiest days of Mubeen and Azmat marriage journey.

Mubeen and Azmat | Nikaah Ceremony

This couple had a beautiful Nikaah ceremony at the Idara-e-Jaferia Mosque.  The second day of the four-day wedding festivities continued to be filled with joy and happiness.  After the Azmat’s family proposed to Mubeen and accepted we spent the rest of the day shooting portraits of the couple’s family and friends.

Mubeen and Azmat | Pre-Wedding Ceremony

06.22.2009 Weddings

I was thrilled to cover Mubeen and Azmat wedding ceremony and reception that span over four days.  The Mehndi ceremony was covered on the first day where Mubeen’s family decorated and covered the house with lavish and colorful gifts, jewelries, and fine clothing.  Mubeen was anointed with a turmeric paste and was covered with mehndi on her hands and feet.  It was a great experience and I truly enjoyed every minute I spent shooting their pre-wedding ceremony.

Gifty and Charles Wedding

After meeting with Gifty and Charles for the first time during their couple session, I knew that we are blessed to be part of their special day. The couple’s family and friends also created a warmth and friendly atmosphere that made us feel like we were  part of their family.

The reception featured a surprise dance by Charles and his groomsmen.
