My wife and I covered Shola and Olumide’s wedding in Lagos Nigeria. The bride and the groom reside here in the States but they came to Lagos, Nigeria for their wedding. They are natives of the city with family members in the Lagos area.
This was one of those weddings that from the very beginning you know it was going to be a fun event. We met Shola and Olumide about two months ago, initially we were only supposed to take their engagement pics, but after the engagement session they decided to put us onboard.
They are the typical couple with whom I love to work. They are full of energy; spontaneous, a characteristic that I believe brought life to the event. The pictures below show that they enjoyed every moment of their wedding day.

The ceremony took place at Lagos Central Mosque, Nigeria.
Olumide, the groom, made their wedding bouquet.
We headed down to Surulere, Lagos for the exquisite reception. It was held at Sam Shonibare Community Centre in Surulere.
This was a defining moment.
Most of the guest lavished the newly wed with Dollars and Nairas.
